Guys,
I have the suspension completely apart on my '71 project. Just got done sand blasting the spindles, they look great for now.
What paint do you use to keep the "cast" appearance? Does anyone use a matte clearcoat? Thanks.
BTW, this is not for judging, etc. just pure functionality.

I painted mine with high temp cast iron paint and look great.

I have found that unless you can keep the car dry at all times it helps to prime the part with Rustoleim first.

Mike,
Scott has a good idea. I used the Cast Paint by Eastwood. I did just like you did and sandblasted them first (hope you taped off the actual spindle part) and painted everything else.
Might as well make a list right now what paint you used on each item. That way later on you will know what to touch it up with.

Yes it is Chuck. You can find this most anywhere too. I'd try it Mike.
