Hi Guys,

My brother is just about done restoring his 70 1/2 Z28 and he only needs a few things. One of the things he needs is a new factory tachometer, his doesn't work. I want to get him one for Christmas but don't know what the yellow/redline is for the LT1 in 1970 Z28s and I don't want to get him the wrong one. If I call and ask him it will blow the surprise. Anybody know what the stock tach redline is for a 70 Z28 with a 4 spd.

The second one in the pic above is correct for the tack you are looking for 70 1/2 Z28 LT1

If his is broken I suggest sending it out and getting it restored. Look in Hemmings to find a service. Just give him a nice card telling him your intentions. Honestly you never know what you are going to get when you buy used parts. Just a thought
