COPO 08-13-2002, 11:05:00 PM I've only 1 tire pressure sticker on my 70 Z28 and it's on the door and I'd like to get a pic of one for my site. Can someone scan me in a pic of the 1970 Tire Pressure sticker and email it with a correct Subject stating that it's a tire pressure sticker so I know it's not Spam or a Virus...thx in advance.

steverino 08-18-2002, 01:40:00 AM I found some photos of tire pressure stickers but they weren't for the Z. I took some photos of mine on my car and since it is a foil type sticker I can't seem to get a decent photo. I can e-mail you what I have but I wasn't able to do a very good job.
COPO 08-19-2002, 11:51:00 AM I guess I can wait till I get some film. I'd really like to get a Digital Camera but hear different stories on what size megapixel to go with. Some say I don't need more than 3 even to make prints, but is excellent for the WEB and I know to use optical and not digital. Another guy said you need more than 3 to get good hardcopy prints back from the developer stores. What gives?

archemedes 08-19-2002, 12:08:00 PM Copo I went to a class on selling digital camaras and the manufacturers all said the huge megapixel camaras are for doing large pictures over 8x10 if putting on web you don't want too fine a picture or it will be a huge file

steverino 08-20-2002, 11:03:00 PM As far as digital camera's go..
I'm on my second one and it is a medium priced HP (Pentax) camera. The way I figure it you can't print anywhere near the quality that these new mega pixel cameras are able to take. If you are looking for something to put photos on the web you still can't use the extreme high res pictures because they take too long to load. I take hundred's of photos a week (insurance adjuster) with my camera and the features I looked for were:
1. Good high quality battery that allows camera to take several photos without needing the batteries changed and can be recharged quickly. Or pick one with a battery type that is easily recharged (AA NiCAD)or available over the counter.
2. Good recovery time, when you take a shot you want the camera to save the image quickly and not hold you up from taking another shot.
3. Make sure the camera uses one of the standard memory types.. Compact Flash, Memory Stick or Smart Media. These will be easy to buy replacements for and most of them work in the new generation HP printers. You can put the memory card directly into the printer to print your photos and that way you aren't holding up your computer.
4. The last thing I felt was helpful was a zoom.
