I thought I'd run this past the experts - we know the 70 Z28 was not equipped with the front spoiler. I have both a RS and Std valance that do not have all the spoiler mounting holes that are usually there on valances, spoiler or not. There are only 4 holes - the two outermost and two intermediate. When did they start pre-punching all the holes ? Can I assume 70 vintage valances, RS or not, are unique ?

ttt. This question may help with that COPO question. They would have had to drill the extra mounting holes ?

Paul,
This is a good question. I have to jet out of town for a couple of days. Let me do some research over the weekend and I will get back to you.

A side note.......
I have noticed two different types of lower valances on the '70 to '73 standard front ends.
#1 - Appears that it is just the outer shell with no interior bracing.
#2 - Exact same valance but it has additional bracing spot welded to the inside.
The only thing I can think of is that the second one is correct for a car with a spoiler - which might need the additional strength for the spoiler..
I don't know....... I can get pictures if the above doesn't make sense.
