Did 71 z's come with an inline fuel filter from the factory? If so, where was it installed?

No, It should only have the 2 inside the carb. behind the fuel line inlets.

I think I know what you are refering to but like Greg said it only had the one's in the line at the Carb. The Vette version of the LT1 had a in line filter I believe. Maybe ChrisS can say for sure. He is a expert on the Vette stuff.

In 71 the BB cars had the GF-432 filter in the line, but these were with the Q-Jet carbs...
