casting #3959594 has a weird snowflake looking mark with a 'w' or a 'm' inside it. also has '70' stamped on a runner, and also has no egr provisions. what is it and would it be incorrect for a camaro? thanks to the collective intel!

Looks like you have found a 1971 Z28/Corvette intake. They also used that number on the 1972 models.

The Winters, Ohio foundry cast virtually all of the aluminum engine parts, blocks, heads, intakes, etc. from at least the early '60s. Every aluminum Chevrolet engine part I have seen has had the telltale "snowflake" logo. Does anyone know if this foundry is still in operation?
