well, went to firebird raceway last night with the truck, pulled off a 15.7 with the slicks, running like crap with all the smog stuff on it, Im still planning on the 406, but the plans have changed for the N/A 355, Mike, a good freind of mine has a PRO-Charger blower that he will lend me when im ready for it (fuel cell, new fuel lines, and a pump that will feed the thursty sucker) he has everything for me to do it (blow through carb, oil lines, etc, etc, etc).. but i hafta switch out for a square bore intake... So off comes the q-puke and out comes the weind single plane intake... this setup should allow me to go 13.4's (with 6 pounds of boost) or so IF (IF) i can get the thing to hook Or put the 10 pound pully on for one run and melt a few pistons but dip into the 12's.. Just wanted yourguys input on this setup if i do it.... Thanks

Nate, more power isn't always the answer. Trucks have a tendancy to fight traction. If you do end up boosting this motor, don't be too surprised if all you get is a bigger trap speed and loose more than you gain in short times. Will be an interesting project tho.
