Can anyone tell me if Nascar racing slicks are any good for drag racing ? Thanks

Nope they sure arent. Side walls are to stiff and rubber compound is to hard.

Depends....they're better than STREET tires....they'll work OK if you heat the hell outta them, and they're the softer compound.

I use to use them when my car was a 13. second car and they worked but when I got faster they were no good.So they will work on a slower car and the price is usually cheap.

Im with craggar. I ran circle track Eagle GT's recapped in slick for bomber class. $60 each. You have to heat the hell out of em'. But hey - thats half the reason I race.....the burnout box.

Never went past 13's with them either.
