Side walls are to stiff and rubber compound is to hard. cattmann1 10-30-2003, 09:54:00 PM thanks . I have a guy on ebay telling me that they work great.I think he is full of Poop rscamaro73 10-30-2003, 09:55:00 PM Depends....they're better than STREET tires....they'll work OK if you heat the hell outta them, and they're the softer compound. WildBillyT 10-30-2003, 11:50:00 PM Nope. Shame, because I have a set. hhott71 10-31-2003, 09:01:00 AM Drag slicks for Drag racing. craggar 10-31-2003, 10:37:00 AM I use to use them when my car was a 13. second car and they worked but when I got faster they were no good.So they will work on a slower car and the price is usually cheap. wwest 11-01-2003, 01:25:00 PM Im with craggar. I ran circle track Eagle GT's recapped in slick for bomber class. $60 each. You have to heat the hell out of em'. But hey - thats half the reason I race.....the burnout box. Never went past 13's with them either. |
