I recently purchased a 1970 camaro with a 468 c.i. motor. The car is half framed, tubbed, with ladder bars and wheelie bars. The intake is a team G Weiland manifold with a Holley 1050 Dominator that was recently ticked out by "ProSystems." I recently changed the dana 60 rear end from 5:13 to 4:56 to be able to run the quarter mile races. The car currently has an old ISKY .688 cam in it. I don't have all the measurements for the cam. Recently, I just raced my first race with it. It has been thirty-five years since my last race. The car has a transbrake and 3-stage box. I only used the foot brakes to come out of the hole and turned a 11.70 117 mph. It was quite a difference from when I used to turn in the low 15's. I just put a new pair of MT ET slicks on the vehicle (32"x17.5x15"). The car only pulls about 6200 rpms with the current came. The lifters are solid with roller rockers. The valves are set at .028 exhaust and .024 intake. I am using AC R44T set at .045. Does anyone have any recommendations for a cam. The car is 3300 pounds with a fiberglass cowl hood. The car should run in the high 10's when I get the courage to use the transbrake and stage box. Thanks for any suggestions. It's great to be racing again.

cool, welcome back to racing. Glad I got back in too.
you might try tuning on your combo. That should be plenty of cam.

You COULD call one of the cam manufacturers and ask them for suggestions.

Call ISKY & ask them for specs if you can give them the # off the cam.

Sad to see a car cut up for racing, but glad to see the quick ET's...

First off, you should know that Isky makes some of the best cam grinds on the market... I used them in about 90% of the stuff I build/sell.
Before we go changin cams think about what you want the car to do different; why do you want a different cam?
That said, there is nothing like a solid roller lifter BBC.
Big Blocks have a well earned reputation for eating flat tappet cams, so whatever you want to get definatley go with a roller cam
