Im picking up my freshly painted 79 on Saturday and want to get it new rubber. I have 15x8 and 15 x 7 pro stars . Do you think 235/60/15 and 275/60/15 is a good tire combo?? I'm going with Micky Tomsins. Any thoughts before I blow 1/2 a grand? Thanks

George (Orange71) has those tires sizes on his 71, and it looks damn good. That's exactly what I'm shooting for on my 73.

Have the same tires on my 81, and it rubbed a little on the front fender housing and originally hit the stock exaust on the rear when people are in the back. Moved the tail pipe a little on the rear, and the slight occasional front rub isn't worth messing with. They sure fill the wheel wells on the car. Just enuf stagger for the right look IMO....
