OK - just got off the scales with my car in race config.

2890lbs (72 camaro) without me in it.
Front end is 1630lbs.

I HAVE to buy my trick springs this week.
Moroso makes two springs Im interested in.
710 47140 (1690 - 1750 front weight).
710 47150 (1600 - 1690 front weight).

The 1630 is without me in it. 220 for me.
So the front weight With me is approx 1740.

Future plans are for glass doors - alum heads - no dash - so the weight will come DOWN. BUT a cage will be installed so the weight will come UP.

Should I get the lighter springs - or the heavier? As of now it looks like the heavier.

Another problem is that both springs are for a 1st gen Camaro. Are they the same height - or should I even worry about that because Im going to cut them either way?

Get the heavier ones.....

About the size...as long as the diameter is the same as a 2nd gen, you'll be OK.
