New rules in my class say; sliks marked with max 9.0x30" or DOT-slicks with max tread width 10.6"
What tire do you think will give me best traction? should i go for sliks or DOT-sliks and what brand?
I have run M&H RaceMaster 275x60x15 703 compound for 2 years now and allways had traction problems. Maybe i should mention that engine is a 432 smallblock so i dont think i can get to much traction.

Since nobody had any comments on this i just wanted to say i decided to go for a Good Year slick 30x9-15 #6251. This is a radial slick and soft compound. Anybody tried this?

Hey Tuk. I run the Hoosier DOT slicks and dont have any problems hooking but I dont have the motor you have. Good luck with the Goodyears.

FWIW, I have been running ET Streets for the last part of last summer & loved them. I did run some GoodYear slicks some time ago & if I were to run another slick I think that it would be GY.
