Finally got it out of the way.. Car did better than expected. Got consistant 1.45 60's. Best pass was a moderate pass (pass number 4). Ran till the 990, killed it and ran a 9.72@ 142.44.
Looks like I will be running in "C" gas at the March Meets http://www.nastyz28.com/ubb/smile.gif
By the way, Calvert was dead on with everything he said. There is no diffrence between the Rancho RS 9000's and the QA1's.Once the 60's start dropping, it may make a diff, but at this point, it made no diffrence. The fixed carrea 90/10 made a .113 diffrence in the 60 over the koni spa1's. I did notice that his split mono spring made the rear much stiffer. Travis said once the brake is used, it will get even better..

Congrats, Phillip. Good to see everything is coming together. Hopefully I will be there soon. I don't have a license, but if the car runs like I hope, I will probably need one.
Definitely keep us informed on the progress.

Are you sure the 1.45 sixty was tripping the 60' cone with the front tire??? I just got a feeling Phil was watching blue sky in the windshield for a LONG time http://www.nastyz28.com/ubb/smile.gif http://www.nastyz28.com/ubb/smile.gif http://www.nastyz28.com/ubb/smile.gif

Marv,
Don't I wish I were looking at blue sky. Actually the car only lifts the front a few inches. I was leaving at 2k on the footbrake. It seems to work better that way. I will be using the Transbrake this weekend. I sure hope that Calvert is right again and the 60 will go down another .10. That should put in the mid 9.50's around 145 on the motor. We now have a better and improved race weight of 3360. Hope to be down another 200 pounds by the April race in Bakersfield............
Thanks Guys,
Phil
