I installed my Custom Autosound USA-230 radio today and I'm very pleased with it. I really liked that it supplied enough power to my speakers so that I would not need an amp, and that I could use my iPhone and Pandora using the RCA Aux jack that was supplied with the radio.

The radio came with more than enough washers, nuts, detailed installation instructions, antenna extender, and each wire on the unit was labeled and had their own bullet connector, along with there was more diagrams and details in the manual and on the head unit itself.

Installing the radio was a breeze considering it was almost half the size of my old 1972 pioneer unit I had in it before, and it was as light as a feather. I did not use the chrome surround the radio came with as it would show the gray area where it is mounted, I slid the surround off and slid the old black bezel I had from my pioneer over it.

If anyone is considering a radio that will fit in the factory location I would recommend this.

The USA-230 has:
● AM-FM Stereo
● 200 Watts (4x50)
● Auxiliary Input (RCA Rear) RCA to 1/8" pin jack
● Digital Clock
● Electronic Tuner
● 30 Pre-sets (4AM-12FM)
● 4 Channel RCA Pre-outs
● 4 way Fader
● Power Antenna Lead

really the only down side was that the knobs were too big for my beer caps  and I had to fashion a way to keep them on there. And you can still kind of see the old school am radio numbers when the radio is on.

Good review and sounds like it's a quality product.

More importantly, how does it sound? ;)

It sounds REALLY good. I got just wal-mart brand pioneer speakers and it delivers good bass without being over bearing. Sometime I'm gonna upgrade to higher quality kenwood speakers but right now it does everything I ask it to.

I purchased a Custom Autosound radio a while back and the rear outputs ended up going bad on it after a few weeks. I had it replaced and now both the front and rear outputs have gone bad on the unit. I hope you fair a little better than I have. I'm starting to look at other options, as I would hate to have to cut up another dash to install a cd deck.
