I've got my motor apart and while it is I'd like to have my rotating assembly balanced. I was pretty unhappy with the work done by the machine shop I took it to last time (the place in Springtown on corner of 199 & FM 51). I'm just west of Fort Worth and would like to find a good shop that does quality work somewhere on the west side of the metromess but will drive further if necessary. Any suggestions? Also, places in surrounding communities (Weatherford, Decatur, Denton, etc) are OK too. Thanks!

I think the name of the place is Grimes in Denton. I have a freind that has used them on several occasions. He is very happy with the work done.
I want to say Jakeshoe uses these guys too. You might e-mail Jakeshoe. He probably knows the best guys in DFW.

ABSOLUTELY ! Rick has built a lot of engines for me over the years. One of the best things is he gets his work done when he says he will and its done right.
His # is 972-222-2296.

I use Grice's Machine in Durant, OK pretty much exclusively.
I live in the DFW area but go out of my way to go north 80 miles....
I'm an ASE certified Master Machinist so a little picky about who I use...
