It reached just over $10,800 but didn't meet reserve. BonzoHansen 03-14-2012, 09:31:13 AM mine was originally that color my24ktrat 03-14-2012, 11:18:13 AM ...Too bad they didn't put the camaro Z28 decal in the right location on the sides of the front fenders, needs to be centered more, DC:bowtie: 3504SPD 03-14-2012, 11:44:13 AM Nice car. I don't like the interior though. That's not an original color. rhinehart 1977 RS LT 03-14-2012, 11:59:55 AM That's not an original color. 78 Orange is an original 77 Z28 color.........it's says the car was repainted but the color is correct for the year. This is also a "relist".....it previously hit $19,200 reserve not met. COPO 03-14-2012, 11:47:13 PM Price: $29,995 LINK (http://cars.trovit.com/index.php/cod.frame/url.http%253A%252F%252Fwww.autabuy.com%252FVehicles%252FDetails.cfm%253FVID%253D634888/id_ad.X1mTn1K191PI/type./what.1977%20z28%20camaro/pos.1/org.1/pop.1/publisher_id./referer_id.1/t.1) I like that color, but too bad the side fender decal is in the wrong position and they also forgot to blackout the tail light frame. BonzoHansen 03-14-2012, 11:52:05 PM both things are easily fixed Is there is a cat in it? http://www.autabuy.com/Photos/634888_289645222_Original.jpg COPO 03-15-2012, 12:13:03 AM Hmmm, looks like it doesn't it. It shouldn't be there if it is. If I recall, my Norwood 77 Z28 I ordered new was black underneath. THOMAS81Z 03-15-2012, 06:37:55 AM holy crap that is rare it had the fullframe option from what the ad sez :p :p :p :p :p :p :p :p :p :bowtie: COPO 03-15-2012, 09:41:14 AM There was no such thing as a full frame option. How about a frame off restoration which means the body was taken off of the uni-body. http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTA2NlgxNjAw/$(KGrHqVHJEQE88dE0T35BPVVL5ZMUw~~60_3.JPG ls777z 03-16-2012, 08:16:38 AM My only question is why was a "complete cosmetic restoration" needed on a 18,000 mile car ? And I understand frame off but I always understood a "cosmetic restoration" was just a lot of cleaning/some painting/detailing/new parts/etc, not down to every last nut and bolt. rhinehart 1977 RS LT 03-16-2012, 09:24:56 AM IMO $30K is to high........I was surprised it got to $19K.....especially considering it's an automatic. You can see in the pics that the original paint was faded. Seems to me you would try very hard to rub and buff the existing paint before going for a repaint. IMO original paint would have been better even if it wasn't perfect. I don't like the interior........black would have been a better choice IMO.....or just plain buckskin not the pattern fabric. I still can't tell if it has a convertor on it or a "test pipe" where it should be. It might have one of those thin aftermaket cats on it. Sure doesn't look it it has the original flat wide cat. 77Z28BLACK 03-29-2012, 07:52:28 PM Here's one yellow w/black interior very clean and is stick. 17k and didn't meet reserve. Sits nice and fender decals look centered. I kinda like the colors, reminds me of my YZ125G . http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=330705969636#ht_2657wt_1165 |
