I searched the forum and didn't see this posted, so I thought I would share.

My 1978 Z28 also has a long sordid history of drag racing and abuse, but it only makes 449HP. I'm willing to let it go for the fire sale price of $175,000. Heck, I'm practically giving it away. Interested parties please PM me. Snicker.

If it was red, it would be 315k. you get a 100k discount for the color combo. LOL!

the carpet is correct for neutral interior (779) . you did have a choice in 73 of either red or blue accent carpet . there was no white in 73 , so the closest thing you could get was neutral . the dash of neutral cars was a olive green and very rare , and probably difficult to find a good match in paint . probably why they kept it . the interior is very original looking ( except for the gages , radio and the shifter) . they ( Nicky) must have started with a pretty plain camaro 350/350 as i don't see a hump on the trans tunnel ( not unusual as most of the cars drive train is being replaced anyway)

Take it easy on me guys! :) I own the Nickey Camaro. The colors are 100 % correct. Is it my preference, no. The paint is midnight green and looks black in certain light conditions. The interior is Neutral. I have vintage pictures from the original owner, proving it. This car was sold in 1990 to a dealer in CA whom in turn sold it to a dealer in Japan. Car was located a couple years ago and brought back to US. Car was rust free and I had Schoenthaler Restorations repaint it, and they did an outstanding job. The interior I dyed myself and turned out great. Polished rims, etc. Did virtually nothing mechanically other than have it dyno-tuned and normal maintenance. I did jet coat the original headers and put electric exhaust cutouts on it. Mileage is estimated about 11k. Car did not justify a subframe off resto as it was in great condition and I decided to keep it as original as possible. This is the ONLY bulletproof documented Nickey Big Block Conversion car in existence with, Original Owner, Vintage Pics, Original Shop Work Order, New Car Invoice, and Copy of Original title, among other paper. No issues, BS stories, maybe's, etc. The only thing that new owner may decide to do is put back in original guages. I didn't want to mess with it since they all work and they did a nice job. Basically everything Nickey converted this car with is still on it. Don Swaitek ( passed away about a week or so ago. Was Nickey Hi-Perf Mgr. back in the day. ) and the Nickey Chicago crew documented this car and have it in their registry. It is truly a one of a kind car. Thanks. Dave

you must admit..........$215 K is a boat load of money for any 2nd Gen:confused: IMO

If you had your choice of any 2nd Gen.....and lets assume it was a near perfect car.....can you justify $215 K?

this might just turn into an interesting thread with 2nd gen "dream cars"
