I know it's a 3rd gen, but any help would be apreciated. All I know is it's plastic and about 23 inches long. The chassis is screwed to the body, but other parts look glued on. Is it a store bought model, a dealer promo or what? There are no marking on it anywhere.

It looks like an old Monogram 1/8 scale kit.

There were two versions.

Kit number 2607- 82 Z-28
Red Z-28 on front of box, decals
for 82 Pace Car Included

Kit number 2610- IROC
Black IROC on front of box

These kits are fairly nice when assembled.

There was also a 1/12 scale 69 Z-28 in two versions. Unfortunately there was never a large scale Second Generation by Monogram.

In my original pics, the car was still nasty dirty. Cleaned up, man is it realistic! Lots of detail. It's missing a few parts, but I'll wait for a cheaper parts car.
