Has Chevy or another manufacture ever made a 1981 Die-cast model? I've been searching, but I can't find.

Any help would prove usefull.

The only help I could offer is that I don't think so. I have seen a plastic model.

They did make a 80-81 Z28 1:18 scale (might be 1:20, don't know haw to scale it, but its 7-8" long). It was made by ERTL and has been discontinued for a while now. It was blue w/blue tri stripes, t-tops, functional doors, hood, seats fold up, chrome motor accessories, chrome 5 spoke mags.


I did find one at a swap meet I snagged up right away for $ 20.00. Keep watching ebay, and other sorces for obsolete die casts.

I have seen the discontinued Ertl model on Ebay a couple times,it is 1:24 scale.

I just got an e-mail from some co. that has a 1/18th 82 camaro in red, white, and blue.They look real good.They have removable t-tops and come with a window sticker that matches the seiral # on the model.

There's a scale model kit listed on
eBay, and several 1/18 scale diecast
models. Many of the diecast collectibles
are colored in Nascar paint schemes.
Do a search for: 1981 Camaro on eBay,
and you can narrow your choices from
there.
