Here's a new release by Racing Champions. It's part of their Concept and Muscle series. You may find it in department stores such as Target. I've only seen it on the Diecast Drive-In (http://amdiecastdrivein.safeshopper.com/index.htm?403) website. Here's a link to the item... http://amdiecastdrivein.safeshopper.com/68/1009.htm?403

...and I checked the one on Rt. 8 in Bedford...and they didn't have it either!

Hey Randy, thanks for checking Stow. It'll save me a trip!

On a related note, I went to my favorite diecast/model shop last night, itching to spend some money...and walked out with nothing. Well, still had my money...

i went to a local hobby shop today, trains etc
in munroe falls ohio. they didn't have any of the baldwins in stock, but the owner said he could order it. so i ordered the plastic model kit. die cast is a bit out of my price range and i don't want the little "hot wheels" size cars, although i did just buy a '69 camaro by "hot wheels". any ways, the model is red w/white graphics. should look pretty nice. if you can't find it at a store, go to your local hobby shop and order it. if it's still in production they can get it. no extra charge for ordering either. http://www.nastyz28.com/ubb/smile.gif
i haven't put a model together since i was a kid. you guys got me psyched. http://www.nastyz28.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

o.k. i'm really confused http://www.nastyz28.com/ubb/confused.gif ijust got back from my local k-mart with what are supposed to be: the'70 b.m., '69 b.m., and '69 camaro's. that's what the packaging says. problem: the under sides of the cars say nothing about baldwin motion. so i went to www.racingchampions.com (http://www.racingchampions.com) and diecastexpress.com and diecastdrivein.com.
i was not really suprized to find that the cars i bought where nothing like what i purchased. the '70 b.m. doesn't come with black graghics only white. my '69 is white with black graghics. it doesn't seem to be offered in white though. the other '69 isn't even listed. it's white with two black stripes outlined with pinstripes, and 302 on the induction scoop. copo? ss? i'm confused! help? dazed& http://www.nastyz28.com/ubb/confused.gif

Dang..no wonder I couldn't find this car at WalMart - they didn't have it.

But I DID get 3 of those 73 RS 'lavender' hoodless blower cars from the 'golden oldies' collection, along with the 99 anniversary T/A http://www.nastyz28.com/ubb/wink.gif
