What's going on with the lower valence panel?
Looks like it's tweaked, doesn't follow grille correctly..

Besides that, and the wrong bumper, looks like a nice car.

Sent them an e-mail just for fun. Do you guys think this thing is a Z/28 like they say?

Chevy camaro Z28, NC car, solid rare split bumpers, 4spd, new int, nice paint, fact tach, gauges, nice paint, runs and drives good.

It's so rare because Chevy never made any of them that way.

All in all.... It looks like a pretty decent car and they don't claim it's factory correct. (Just "rare" and nice paint.)
The proper steering wheel, console and shifter would improve the interior 100%!

Pics of a trim tag, PoP or any other documentation would be nice for the price.
Did I mention it has nice paint?

Those were exclusive only to the 1970 1/2 Camaro's. :)

I was just trolling through their inventory for something to do. It would definately look better with a full bumper on front like it's supposed to have. It's just amazing to me how so-called classic car experts that live cars day in and day out never figure out the difference between an RS front end and the better looking standard front end with the full bumper.:o
I don't agree with the value either. My car was much fresher and nicer than that, and it appraised for only $10,500. I'd say this is worth $12,500 ONLY if it's a true Z. I could be wrong.

Looking at the car in the link and it does not have the brake Booster so i'm thinking its not a Z28 or SS

Looks to me, the dopes just type whatever they want without even caring what a dip sh*t they sound like.

Hey, but it has Z/28 badges on it! It must be a Z/28!

Sadly typical scummy used classic cars salesmen.

I like some of the trucks on the site. I sent em an email to see if they'd be interested in trading a truck for my 62.

D80 is/was the shorty. COPO 9796AA was the tall spoiler. Def a no in this case, because the COPO tall spoiler was only available on the Z28, which this car is not (see prior points about gas pedal and disc brake booster).

That place is only about 15 minutes from my house. I havent been up there and looked around for quite a few years but they have a bunch of old cars and trucks of all makes and models and conditions. Usually they are pretty proud of them and a lot of the nice ones are consignments. If you go up 55 from St. Louis to Springfeild it is between the frontage road and the interstate at the second staunton exit.

Every time I head to St Louis I do a drive through, they charge you a $1 but its worth it and kind of sad at the same time. Some cars that were really nice at one time are sunk up to the frames in the mud. Some decent cars inside but everything seems price 25-30% above what it might be worth on a good day!

Do you want us to send you the browsing fee in advance? I could have sworn it was more like $4, real classy people.
Oh, while you're there go north about 20 minutes and check out the lot full of $8k gutted rust holes that used to be musclecars.

(joke making fun of the lot charging you to go in and look at their overpriced and misrepresented Crap):o

the steering wheel is wrong, that was a 71 option, the seats are comfort weave which you had to get the deluxe interior option to get , standard door panels. wouldn't bet the bank thats a true z28.

Yes, they're a real bunch of spooks. I think I remember it being much more than a dollar. I drove over an hour and a half just to go look at their cars, I was in the market at the time. They pissed me off by charging me an admission fee, and I puked in my mouth the rest of the time reading their published prices. The cars inside the building are worse. Tacky dry rotted 30 yr. old restorations for twice the money.

Thats up to you man, $4 isnt going to make or break me and I am sure I would look around at everything else while I was there!;)

That place just south of springfield is a joke man, I looked at 71 there when I was in the market for my car and the guy was telling me how good of shape it was in, I get underneath and there was nothing left of the rear frame rails or inner wheel houses and they were asking $7900 for it!!!

Like I said above I dont know anyone that has ever bought from either of these places but countryclassics is pretty neat to go walk thru on occasion just to check out all the different makes and models up close.

OOh, guess time ran out. Doesn't make any sense to have this in classifieds now. I'm sure from the nature of the thread, he was going to have his gates torn down from eager buyers. lol

I like the 1 of a kind rad shroud. Looks like a BB molted to the support. F that's rare! Where's the rear bumper fangs? Missing a lot of sh!t under the hood for a Z28. These F'kers never learn.
