Well the IROC's were not introduced till 1985 according to what I found and convertibles didnt come till 1987!

No. Here's why. No documentation. Also, for ME to buy a rare 1 of 5 3rd gen. it needs to have the original engine.

I sent him a message asking if he had a pic with the top up and also asked if maybe it was a "conversion" since the ragtop 3rd gens didnt come out till later. Lets see if he replies!

here was his reply...

My car was converted there were no factory cars ....hence prototype...cause a few companys then were trying to get a gm contract...so mines is super rare cause its a z...and its yellow....call for more info

I have to buy it now, its a rare prototype!

That car has been around for a long time. It was listed atleast 3 times a day on Atlanta CL. They were originally asking 15k for it, then 7k, then 3500. Now this guy has it and believes the BS told to him. The car is a factory red/silver on grey 84 ASC conversion. It's a L69 HO auto car. On another note there was only 1007 built by ASC. so it is kinda rare.
