a stamped sheet of metal that was attached to the warranty documents that went with the car from factory to dealer. IIRC, it listed basic info like engine, axle, VIN, paint/trim color, etc.

if you look at the BS i provided in post 8 you can see it was "canceled " on 7/27/72 so a 72 camaro ( although a limited production year) would have a POP as production of the 72s ended on 4/7/72 .
