Hey everyone i got an ERTL 1/18th of one of my favorite vehicles other than Camaro's. It's the Black w/white stripes 70 SS 454 El Camino. The problem i'm having is that the model hasn't been put together correctly i guess. When it sits on the table it doesn't sit on all four wheels. Seem as though it needs a little adjusting here and there. I've taken the screws out in every place except under the rear wheels. My question is has anyone ever taken the wheels off before? The back side of the wheel have these four plastic rivit (silver/grey) looking things on the back side. I'm wondering if the whole wheel will just come off of the rear end if i pull on it, but i'll wait to here from you before i do. The Camaro's don't seem to have these hidden screws under the rear wheels. However the Tire/wheel to rear end set up is pretty close to the same. My 69 orange RS/SS convertible has the same wheel set up as the El Camino if anyone has one of these.
