but, does anyone make a 78-81 die cast camaro? I would be interested in picking one up for the dorm room, I already have a plastic (monogram I believe) one I built and dolled up like the yellow banana

yeah i think the early 2nd gens and the late 2nd gens are the nicest looking, mostly wanted something nice to remind me of the car, and to show the chicks http://www.nastyz28.com/ubb/wink.gif

son of a gun, it just hit me, a long time ago (at least 10 years) McDonalds was "giving" away purple ones in their happy meals (Hot Wheels size) they were 1980 or 1981 Z28s with green, blue, white, etc triangles on em...I had two, I think I painted one blue for the Model Railroad and the other has disapeared, oh well, thats not the kind of thing I want anyhow, just came to me for some reason

I found a GREAT 1978-1981 three in one model set that you could make look like any style of camaro from 78-81. It has two different hoods (one for 78,79 the other for 80,81) and all sorts of different stripes for it. I believe it a Monogram set and if i'm not mistaken, cost around $29.99

Tell you what, check my profile and email me your address. I have a die cast 78/79 Z28 that is about 4 times the size of a hot wheel made by tootsietoy, you can have it, it's in real good shape. By the way, did I mention it's banana yellow??
