I have a complete subframe assembly from a 1978 Y88 Pontiac Trans Am equipped with W72/WS6 suspension. It has the larger sway bar and quicker ratio steering box included.
The complete assembly was blasted and cleaned, all seams and welds were filled and smoothed, all rubber components replaced with polyurethane, new NOS upper control arms, brakes, calipers and springs, Hotchkis adjustable tie rods, stainless steel brake lines. It was all painted in gloss red, with stainless bolts throughout. Even the bolt head stampings have been ground smooth and polished. This will fit any f-body GM '70-'81 (Camaro/Firebird/Trans Am/Rally Sport/SS/RS/Formula, etc. It was built this way to go in a show car.
You'd have to see it in person to believe how nice it is. Countless hours and $1800 in parts and paint alone. This will be perfect to slide under a street rod, rat rod or show car project, as it's ready to go. Much better front clip than a Mustang II or Nova.
Currently set up for standard GM 5 lug bolt pattern on the new rotors. It has an f-body radiator/core support in perfect condition already mounted and painted to match. I also have the inner fenders and automatic transmission crossmember, also painted to match. I will sell the subframe/trans mount alone for $1200 if it's not going back in a T/A and you don't need the core support and inner fenders. If you can use it all, everything goes for $1500. Don't think you could buy and build one for this. I'm an hour south of Nashville right off I-65. Email for my number or any questions, thanks for looking.
