I have a model of a 1975 Chevy Camaro. It's made by MPC and still in the original box and unopened inside. Someone did open the outer wrapping around the box. The kit no> is: 1-7519. Does anyone know about this kit? I picked it up a a hobby show 13 years ago and hung on to it. I was curious how common this kit is. Thanks

These kits are not very common. MPC had a contract to make a new model kit each year for certain cars. The Camaro was one of them. I've seen some of the unopened ones go for decent $$$$ on the auction sites. Do a search on eBay or the others for models such as yours to get a feel of what they're pulling in on them....
Here's one on eBay that end later tonight. http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=274658263

Those are 2 different models. The one that sold for $36.01 was made by AMT. The MPC made model in my post above sold for $50.95.

I would not mind getting another model and putting it together to mirror my 75 RS. I think it would be neat to display during car shows. That is unless I sell the car first.
