I need help to find one to complete my car. Its got 39 options on her and i missing but 1. AN6 is the drivers seat w/recline. Did you find the build sheet to realize that the car had that many options-Your Z was built 1 week prior to my Z-What color was your trunk painted and do you have the trunk mat-Original drivetrain,Rick.

Hi, is it the felt material mat-here's my option list-I never found a build sheet for my car-D55-U63soon to be U80-D80-U35-Z28-J50-M21-beleive it or not car did not come with power steering.My dash has the woodgrain accent and NK4 steering wheel.

The trunk mat material in my car is rubber with the checkered pattern on the front. Base color is black with light green square patterns on it.I've seen three different types of trunk mats but can only confirm 2 of them to be correct.One is the houndstooth patter which is in my car,and they should be color matched to the car as far as i can tell eventhough im not 100% sure on how many colors GM offered,but mine matches to the exterior color which is light pewter code 14.
The other mat is the same in black and white pattern(basic houndstooth pattern) and the third is just a plain black or grey felt trunk liner. Not alot of the felt ones survived very long as they are not very durable, and i've yet to find a factory replacement for the felt liners....Idunno bout that one http://www.nastyz28.com/ubb/smile.gif
Its funny your car never came with power steering since there was only 68651 cars built and 59854 of them had the N40 option in them. Thats kinda a cool thing not to have considering all the cars that got it http://www.nastyz28.com/ubb/smile.gif

Hi,the cars are very close my vin is 1Q87l2N146979 TR775 56 56 PNT-12B-A51-Z28-YF8.The vin on my engine is 12N38073-my drivetrain is not# matching-but I found a complete block ,carb to pan with the correct CKS code.Think of this we are very lucky to have are cars produced when GM was having all the problems.The strike started in April sometime and GM only prodiced 20000 cars in 4 months what a slow down-and probally did not have alot cars ordered for production I know my car was dealer ordered car.I think I know of one car manufactured after the first of the year (Z28) majority were built in 71,talk to you later,Rick.
