I always wondered the fate of these cars. I watched this build as much as I could but still missed a few of the shows.

I watched the whole series and loved it up until the point they put the Z28 stripes on it. They tried to stay as correct as they could to a true L78 until then. Its up to $26K now with three days left.

anyone remember how much money they had into it? i wonder how high it will go.

it has alot of year one parts including dash and gauges. i remember the motor had a hole in one cylinder that was repaired

The reserve HAS to be at LEAST $30,000.

Well worth the investment IMO. If it doesn't meet the reserve, I hope to see at at a Mecum Auction!!

I didn't know that they changed the engine to an L79 350HP/327.

For a professional sale I'm amazed at how tiny and poor quality the pictures are...

29 bids, 26,xxx. For that price I would want the "period correct" headrest's and correct front license plate bracket

No head rest for those seats looks incomplete. I'd rather get a real z28 for that kind of $.
