I bought a sbc 400 motor this week, and in the pile of spare parts, I found a set of BBC main caps. They appear to be new/never installed on a motor. The first 4 have a GM# 963, the rear one has a GM# 967 stamped in it. My question is: any way to figure out what motor they went to, and because the rear one has a different number, is it belonging to a different engine block/type?
Mostly I just want to help out another fellow enthusiast in case there's someone out there needing the rear cap...
