71-12487 means 1973 Camaro 2 dr sport coupe
L is code for Los Angeles assembly plant
14398 is the body ID number
The trim code 775 is for Black vinyl; bucket seat interior
19 19 is the lower and upper paint color code for tuxedo black paint
04E is the month and week car built, April, 5th week of
755706 300190 is the Data Processing Sequence Number from the assembly plant broadcast manifest. Its just a control number that ID'd the body in the plant. They used that number and the body number to match the shell up to the orders etc.

PS The VIN will show what the base engine was. Cannot tell from the body plate if the car came with a 6 or V8. List the compete VIN and we can tell you if it match's with the body plate.
