i have the orignal heads on my 78z, getting ready to take off to put 2.02 on it.

should i keep these or just get rid of them?

thanks in advance!

Those heads are near worthless. Very prone to cracks near the exhaust seats & light weight smog heads. Dump em dude!

Hey, wasnt meaning to sound like a jerk or anything, its just kind of common knowledge that GM put some crappy heads on their passenger cars around 75-79. I took my 624 castings off my 79Z28 & threw them right in the dumpster.

i found out later(before you posted),that these only make good "paper weights".

i putting 2.02 heads on it now!hopefully it will wake it up a bit!
