my engine code is drh for a 79 is it a z28

does the car have the body panels of a z-28? second have you ran the vin# on this site?have you tried to find the buildsheet?if not look behind your backseat, that will answer all questions.

the engine nmber is a 79 drh that is the only not original thing. i just want to know if the engine came out of a z28 so i can get a base horsepower

DRH shows up on the list as a 350 with th350 for a 1979 Z28, and was rated at 175hp on the Z28.

It should be the same engine as the LM1 used on non-Z28 Camaro engines that year. The non_Z28 Camaro 350 was rated at 170hp because of a poorer exhaust system.
