I found a buildsheet recently in a 72 Norwood Z28. It has some option codes that I cant figure out. F62 FRT SPRING,G32 RR SPRING,ZK8 TIRE PRESS LAB, ZP2 TRIM COLOR Oxx. The mice ate what was after the O in the ZP2 code. Also can the blocks above the option codes be decoded. I am interested in blocks 17,18,39 and 84. 17 is FRT SHOCK BJ. 18 is REAR SHOCK EH EH. 39 is CARB GA. 84 is INST. CLUSTER NE.
Any ideas thanks.

ZP2 stands for Paint and Trim Overide. This can mean many things - but usually means that your car originally came from the factory with an unusual Exterior/Interior combination (red exterior with blue interior) for example. Can't help you on anything else.

The cowl tag has TR 780 75 75. Im pretty sure this means standard white vinly interior and red paint. It also has white stripes ZR8. The same paint, interior combination is on the buildsheet. Would these colors be considered unusual?

Red paint would normally get black stripes, not white. So thats the paint over-ride reason.
Its not clear to me what codes you want info on?

I would like to know what these option codes mean.
F62 FRT SPRING
G32 RR SPRING
ZK8 TIRE PRESS LAB
This is exactly how the option codes appear on the buildsheet.
I also would like to know what the codes in the blocks mean. The "blocks" are on the top half of the buildsheet. Each block is numbered and has for example Rear Shock,Fuel Guage,Door Pads etc in very small print and a code EH EH, GA, NE for example in each block.
Its hard to explain but if your looking at a buildsheet it maybe easier to see what im trying to explain. There is a picture of a buildsheet on this site. Instead of clicking on the Message Board, click the Numbers Decoding and then click the Buildsheet and paperwork, scroll down and there should be a picture of a buildsheet.

The build sheet lists how to put the car together. Not necessarily the options a person ordered when they bought the car, but what GM RPO things needed to be put on the car.
The tire pressure label is the 15" wheel inflation sticker that's put on your glove box door. Normal cars have a 14" wheel, and a 14" tire inflation info - Z28's got 15" wheels, so if this wasn't specified, goober wouldn't put the sticker on the car. Same thing with the springs, those are the specific springs this car called for. They're letter coded so goober can go to the bin and pull out the XX code springs and put them in the car as it rolls by. That's what all those boxes stand for up top... XX speedo gear, XX radiator hose, just go to the bin and grab the correct thing and put it on. Reduces mistakes.

Thanks for the info. I guess those option codes dont amount to anything special.
I have a long list of parts ready for Goob when I finish this time machine.
