Can I tell which color my interior is by the trim tag??

Also, My paint code is 74 . . . then there is an A does that mean white vinyl top??

I didn't see it listing the trim tag code for vinyl tops.

Yes, the A is for a White top. I don't know why they used it, maybe it stood for Almond ....just a guess.

Thanks Greg . . . I thought that was it . . . man, I don't know how that is going to look. When I bought the car, the owner had taken the vinyl top off and painted the car cortez silver with black stripes . . . so I have no idea what it will look like . . .

Anyone have a pic of a code 74 red with a WHITE vinyl top???

Also, the interior apparently had that cloth black and white pattern covers on the seats originally, I found the original interior under the new interior they had put in . . . I thought that was odd . . . covering the old material with the new. But it let me see what the original looked like.

So does the trim tag tell me anything other than bucket seats? Does it list the color of the interior??

Post the numbers from your trim tag, and we can decode it for you if you like. The color of the interior is a 3 digit code stamped on the tag, and Madmike's page should have a matching number with a color chip for comparison.

hey rachetmaster chech out my car from the little camera on the post. its a 73 rs z paint 74 (dark red metalic) with white vinyl roof and neutral int. yes the trim tag tells you the color of the interior. second line first designation after the letters TR there should be a 3 number code mine is 779 (light neutral sport coupe)
