i have a muncie 4 speed the numbers on it are P5428. the rear end apears to be not of second gen either even though the car is a 78 Z the numbers on the rear faceing passenger side for the rear end are CMG038 3 G and that is how they apear i know that none were scratched off because i removed the undercoating with power cleaner and the numbers are untouched by rust or anyone for that matter. the passenger side front facing numbers are B13 and the driver side front faceing numbers are G2 and it is a 10 bolt. please help

Are you 100% sure about the number on the Muncie? I can't find any listings that follow that sequence of numbers.

The rearend has the CM code on it, and that comes up as a 3.42 Posi used in 72-74, and possibly other years too.
