I just purchased a set of Aluminum heads and am curious what they were used on and what year, or were they over the counter replacement parts the part number is #3919842 they are Rectangular port

Good set of heads used in 68 and 69 on L88 and L89 motors.
I had a set once but my 396 motor couldn't support the "hog" work that the previous owner had done.
Rare find you have there.

BTW: Should have a date code (i.e. b-1-8) around the same location as the casting number that you can determine the build date from.
B=Feb 1=Day 8=1968 as an example.
