I am in the process of purchasing a 1980 Z28, but I am having problems verifying the authenticity of the car. One thing that bothers me is the T tops. The tag on the firewall says no T tops were installed at the factory.. It shows --- where it should shoe CC1.. I understand that there was a dealer option that this Zee might have. Is there any way to verify this. I'm getting this car for $650.00 and it drives fine and looks alittle rough, but nothing a little cleanup won't fix. Is this a correct statement?
