I am looking at the title of this car I picked up sight unseen. It was advertised as a 1971. The title says 1970 Chevy Coupe. The VIN I believe says its a 1971. Maybe someone cuold shed some light one this for me.

The VIN says it is a 1971. It was advertised as a 1971, so that is correct.

Look carefully at the title. Many States list "Year Registered" instead of "Model Year". The 1971 Camaro was made from Sept 1970 until August 1971, so any cars made during the first 4 months of the production run probably got registered in 1970, and that date will show up on the title.
