The engine code CTB (350/360HP and manual tranny), the rear code COZ (12 bolt 3:73), the H (holley) carb code.

It also matches my VIN....

Wish it had the original engine....

Need someone who has a matching number 70 Z28 AND a protecto-plate to check something for me. Is the code for the engine (V0706CTB) the same code that is stamped on the front pad of the engine? Does the engine also have the VIN or did I read somewhere that that didn't start until 71 or 72?

thanks,
roger
