I have an '81 Z28. I am trying to find out exactly what wheel the car came with. The build sheet doesn't show N90 so am I to assume the car came with the regular steel 5-spoke wheel? All build sheet shows is P06 and QGR.

Another question: Is the 5-spoke wheel the standard wheel and the 5-spoke aluminum wheel an option? If this is the case might this be why there is no code on my build sheet for wheels. Only something about "whl trim ring". Items that come standard are not listed on the build sheet? Thanks

Ordering a Z28 forces those wheels and tires onto the car. They're not optional. They're not a regular RPO that can be put on a non-Z28 car.

The only "trick" I know to validate if the aluminum wheels are original to the car without the build sheet is:

There's a decal under your trunk lid with aluminum wheel information. This decal is only put on a car that got the optional N90 aluminum wheels.

Sounds like your car got the stock 5 spoke steel wheels.

Great! I think the regular 5-spoke wheels look better anyhow. Thanks for the help Mike.
