i go to some of them have not been this year yet. i see very few if any when i went last year. Iroquois parks had alot of them last year

I'd rather spend an afternoon with 4 2nd gens and getting a fish sandwich off River Road, or a caravan cruise to Mike Linning's or Iroquoi Park, and hanging out with these boys and girls from the board...

Of course, by the end of next week I might be driving my Shoedebakers until I get the Impala done...

A friend with a resto shop in Austin just called me today and offered the use of his rotisserie as long as I need it.... Car hobby people are truly unlike any other. Dave, here, loaned me jack stands and an impact wrench with assorted sockets!

Heather and me are looking for a house to buy at the moment so fixing it is a bit on the back burner. Hopefully I'll find a place she agrees to that has a real garage.
As for now I got a decent camaro that is hitting just about 1 to 5 psi at idle after warming up. My buddies seventy something malibu was doing the same thing and he never did anything about it and his motor eventually killed over and died, metal on metal, worst sound I've ever heard.

I saw a few 70-73's at carl casper but thats it. I always go up to the castle on the last friday of everymonth. Ive been wanting to go up to mike lennigs i hear they have that rod round up every thursday.Good luck with the oil pump swap hopefully you cought it before anything got messed up.

yea gotta keep those miles low lol! well theres a show at valuemarket in mount washing tomoro i plan on going if it doesnt rain you know how the weather is lately they said it was supposto rain today and i think it sprinkled for 10 minuets in the morning so hopefully there wrong about tomoro too. I just bought some weld wheels from my buddy whats the best way to clean/shine up the aluminum there a little oxidized i guess you would say or dull looking

went to the car show in mt washington it was alot of fun until it rained lol but i did see another 2nd gen I believe it was a 72? i no it was a type Lt / Rs. Red with black stipes it looked really good. It also won best Chevy at the show. I didnt get to talk to the owner but i was gonna see if he one part of nasty z28 but i couldnt find him.

here's 3 that can be spotted at random times playing around on local drag strips...

Never been the Impala guy, unless it is slammed with some nice oversized wheels. Even then I've always been Camaro>Impala, Chevelle, Nova, (insert car here).

Yeah, we gotta get together. Got your message, we were at the in laws. I have a brush guard on the Wife's SUV I'd liked to get Chromed, sometime this summer. I pictured all of Camaro drivers going for a little cruise and eat, but now someone has his in storage and treats it like a Museum peice:crazy:

I have made {O} sessions so-far this season,
due to the weather (and my family/work schedule).

Larry (the silver '79) has made 2 sessions:
broke 1st time out; did fairly well last Friday.

and Mike (the red '79) {O} sessions.

I've been doing some research on Lake Cumberland Dragway, Jamestown Ky.

been told the "atmosphere" there is better than average . ;)

Today I saw a very nice dark green 78 screaming up and down Hikes Ln. It sounded amazing made the hair on back of my neck stand up.

i went i was driving the 95 lightning turned pretty nice lil cool out

there where a ton of cars there and yea it was a little cool out. I was there in my 78 Z28 its black.
