Well it was a sad site to see a 70 Z stripped to the bone in a junkyard the other day. I was an 04D build car that was Citrus green with black int..I saw the stripes and checked the tag to make sure...sad to say it came in 15 years ago complete with a front end shot...it looked th be fixable. The owner said it ran and he sold the engine years ago and the 12 bolt a few months ago. From the looks of it after 15 years, it must have been pretty solid when it came in. I am basing this on the rust it now has which is not all that bad considering the time it has been there...the floor was good except where the 4-speed hump was cut out..as I said there is nothing left of it now...I wish I could have gone there 14 years ago...

Ahhh...the infamous "if I only had...."

That's too bad. Sounds like it would have been a great find back then.

A friend of mine found a Hugger Orange 70Z at a boneyard one time. A whole car except for the engine & a few small things missing.
Only problem, he couldn't get to the perfect interior because of the Oak tree that had fallen diagonally across the car, crushing the sh$t out of thing. Between the trunk of the tree & the limbs that were stuck through it, there was nothing left that was salvageable.

This had weeds and trees growing out of it also. The owner should have had the sense to know what it was and fix it then, instead of letting it go...
