But my block has the CNN which is for a 250hp, powerglide, and 2bl carb?? But on the car it has a stock alum intake 4bl with at TH350 tran??? The last owner said he did not change anything only the radio??? The # on the motor matches the # on the protecto plate...??? http://www.nastyz28.com/ubb/frown.gif

8 bolts and the intake comes off and the "crappy" 2 barrel is in the trash. Not an uncommon swap. CNN I'd assume is the original block.
If your car has a console, that prevents having a 2 speed PG trans. Regardless of what the CNN application is listed as. It could very well be a typo.
See:

I show CNN as an "at" application, not necessarily a PG.
I really don't see any problems unless your car has Z28 or SS badges on it - cause it's a 1970 coupe.

JJ I think you may have misunderstood me. The CNN code said nothing about a Powerglide. I wrote that the code is for a turbohydramatic 350. Sorry for the confusion. And like Mike says an intake swap is one of the first things to be done, especially since the car had a 2bbl.
