Nice. Those were actually the better looking years for the El Camino's. The mid to late 70's ones were hideous looking.
Hard to see where he has 65 grand in this one but I'd buy it for the 32 grand he's asking without hesitation if I could.

Never been a fan of them after the early 70's. This one included. Not my thing.

That's the kind of attention to detail I like to see in restorations. You can eat off that suspension! That's the exact reason why I'm not done with my car yet...striving for that kind of detail and it takes time and money.

Car shows to be very well done and taken care of...worth every bit of the asking price. Just as good if not better than a new car off the lot.

You would have to compare the price with a new sport vehicle.
The LT1 is a decent engine and the execution of this conversion/restoration is fantastic.
Weird.... I thought they quit making El Caminos in '84!
A little searching turns up they quit making El Caminos in the US in '84.
(Production was moved to Mexico for '85-87.)

It's alright. 32K seems a bit high for it. I wouldn't buy it. Only version of those I'd buy would be a Choo Choo Customs like the below.

That is a nice looking car. Not worth the 32k price though.

That truck is beautiful! I had an 86 ElCamino and loved it. I say it's worth the money. It just takes the right person that feels the same way and has the money to spend.
