There is no build date on any of the 4 factory wheels that came on my car. As you can see in the pic they are clearly stamped GM but no build date. Any ideas why???

Ray,
Look between the metal pieces that the Trim Ring hides when it is installed. Look around in there, you will find the code and the date.

Bob, I only have one wheel here at the house (my spare in the Z) the others are in storage. I spent at least 30 minutes looking and can find no numbers of any kind on the wheel I have here. Looked at all of the yesterday and onlt found the GM stamp. Is it possible it was stamped where I would have to remove the tire to find it???

It should be behind the picture you took, Next to where the valve stem seals to the rim. Good Luck!!

Did you ever find what you were looking for? I have a set of wheels for my 71 that are broken down and I will take a picture of two for you. I haven't seen Jap Repro's of any Z28 wheel........yet....
