Does anyone know how I could trace the history of this carb? Is it a factory issue or an over the counter? What does it go to? I was told a 70Z with a 302 but I didn't know there was such a car(thought they all had 350's in 70) Can someone point me in the right direction?

The list and part numbers tells us that it is for a 1970 Z28 or Corvette with a 4sp(fed model). It is a replacement carb by the way it was date coded. 262 is the month and day(Sept. 19th) and the 8 is the year(78,88,98).
