Everyone has seen the stories and tales about scams...

I was browsing the ads looking for a possible driver project and came across a couple of 94-96 Impala SS that were just unbelieveable!

This is one I sent an inquiry and following is the response I got...

This 1996 Chevrolet Impala SS LT1 with 99,975 miles, runs and drives excellent. This car has been extremely well maintained. No accident, clear title, free of encumbrances and liens. I bought it when I was serving in Fort Stewart, GA.
I have dropped my price to $1500 (purchase price) since this is an urgent sale and I need to sell it before 15 April, when I will be deployed in Iraq with my platoon replacing the troops scheduled to come home.
I have decided to use eBay for this sale . The car is already at our Military Logistic Department form Fort Stewart, U.S. Army, crated and ready to go.
The Logistic Department will deliver the car to your home. I will offer a 10 days period to inspect the car from the moment you receive it. The transport will be free for you! I'm currently stationed in London, United Kingdom until 15 April, when I will be deployed to Iraq. This is why I must sell it before that.

Also im in the army and they will ship your stuff when you move but will not hold it so u can sell it, thats just nuts

I'm gonna say, no way in hell is that legit. If it were, it'd be the best deal I've seen on a car....ever.

I think the worse the economy is, the more people revert to this nonsense. I visited my parents yesterday (my dad is 84 and my mom is 75). My mom was telling me that they have scammers calling them pretty much once a day trying to take money from them. She caught my dad about to give credit card info to one of these scumbags. It really burns me up to no end that these scum are trying to take advantage of the elderly...and people in general. It's kinda why I get addicted to writing to them just to give them a real FU and a taste of their own medicine. Matter of fact, I just send Lisa an inquiry from Biggie Toes in Nebrazka. F'er!
