I Have a set of cylinder heads with the castings 93417369 and I can't find any infromation on them. I know for sure that they were made in mexico (Hencho en Mixico). Is that good or bad? I found some information saying that casting #'s 33417369 are to 90-up 350 Gen. 1 Good wrench Crate motor, but I don't have center bolts and the first number is definatly a 9. http://www.nastyz28.com/ubb/confused.gif Also my block (which I got from a different place then the heads) have castings 3970010 which I know is a 350 with 4 bolt main, but it was also made in Mexico. What kind of blocks did GM get from Mexico? Any help would be well appreciated.

"Hecho en Mexico", 76cc

the block doesn't have to be a 4 bolt could be a 2 bolt 010 block

The heads arn't 90-up though because they don
't have the center bolts. They bolt down aroud the edge like all pre 86. the firs number is clearly 9. I'll try to get a picture.

Just because it is a 90-up casting does not mean it must have center-bolt valve covers (Vortec heads). Keep in mind that this is a service replacement engine (not factory installed in any cars), designed for replacement of Generation I small blocks, i.e. early design...it was just built in the 90's. It's the same motor I would get right now if I were to purchase a stock replacement GM Goodwrench 350 to replace my 76LT 350 from GM.
