Dash to the Past.
This is my latest pencil/graphite drawing. I loved the contrasts in the dark and lights between the chrome and paint.

If you have any 55 buddies, I'm putting it on e-bay in a couple of days. It is 12"x15" drawn with 2h-6b leads on a 15"x20" acid free Cresent Illustration board. The board is stark white, but the flash washes out the detail. Ok, I can draw, but my photography skills .....well your know, shall we say seriously lacking without special lenses and flash.

I can attest to the fact that David (71RS-TPI) can draw. Check out the sketch he just recently did for me. This is approx 20"x30". I just got it back today from being matted. It looks GREAT!! Thanks again David!

you gotta be kidding me... that's friggin amazing. I'm never let down by your drawings. It's beyond me why you're not making some huge money off these. I'm in love with these. I still have your 'essence' saved on my computer.

P.S., might wanna make watermarks on your works so "OTHERS" wont keep stealing them.. like me... ;)

P.S., if you ever find yourself needing another model of vehicle for inspiration... hard to go wrong with 57 Chevys... :)

Ok, I finally got it listed on e-bay and PMs returned. Thanks for the interest and ideas.

If you have a suggestion please feel free to leave a comment or pm. Ok besides the fact that it isn't a Camaro.
It's like Neapolitan; I love the chocolate, but occasionally like to taste the strawberry. ;)

Yea, I'm BuckNeccid there too.... Just about anywhere I go, I try to keep the name. It's been fun meeting people IRL and saying "Hi, My Name's Buck... I'm Buck Neccid". Never fails to get a grin, and once people get past the idea that it's a perverts' name and one just to have fun with, it's ok.

Man....that is stunning! The reflections on the shiny surfaces are out of orbit amazing (as is everything else).

I'd post a digital watermark on the pics listed on ebay....also, go ahead and spend $40 to mat/frame the image. I think It will pay for itself in interest. Something like that would make a great gift (even fore one's self) and it makes it more attractive b/c the buyer doesn't have to do it. Just hang on the wall and enjoy that way. Regardless, your asking price should move that thing quickly!

I guess I'm going to have to learn how to do a water mark. I haven't matted and framed it yet, because everyones tastes are different and shipping is so much easier unframed. If nothing happens, that will be my next step along with local art shows.

What do yo normally charge for these?

That all depends on what your looking for, size, detail, and time involved. If you are looking for something in particular, PM me. I've got three on the board now, so this isn't something I can crank out over night. Thanks for asking and your interest.

Dang... I looked at these yesterday and thought they were photos... I didn't bother to read the threads until today, and that's when I realized they were pencil drawings... those are really super awesome... impressive work my friend.
